Privacy and data security

Your data, protected

We handle your information with confidentiality and security, in line with Personal Data Protection Law 21.719 and the best market practices.

Legal framework

Law 21.719

Law 21.719, published on December 13, 2022 and fully in force since December 1, 2024, brings together in a single legal body all the rules on personal data protection in Chile. It creates a common regime for data controllers and processors, incorporates international standards and establishes an oversight body with sanctioning powers.

The law is built on principles such as lawfulness, purpose, proportionality, data quality and transparency. In practice, this means we can only use your data for what you ask us to, in a clear and secure way, and that you keep control over your information.

Since January 1, 2025, the Personal Data Protection Agency operates to supervise compliance, with fines that can reach 20,000 UTM for serious infringements.
